- Dad: So people can post naked pictures on the internet?
HAHAHAHAHAHA I FORGOT ABOUT THIS SONG. SO BAD IT’S GREAT.
I had to explain what this song meant to a sheltered cousin with my broken Italian. Used a gelato metaphor that seemed to get the point across. This song and “Don’t Want No Short Dick Man” were club favorites. Loved hearing all the guys singing along phonetically, not knowing what it meant.
Excuse me, would you check out the hook while my DJ revolves it?
So when a romance author is tagged for Lucy 7’s, they go to page 77 of their latest release or work in progress, count seven lines down, then post the next seven sentences from that point.
Here’s a little something from my upcoming steampunk Western, set in the same world as my wife, Zoë Archer’s, SKIES OF FIRE. It’s yet untitled, but imagine a very wild west and two reunited lovers with a hell of a past separating them.
Their breath came together, quickening. His hands skimmed down her back until he caught her hips and tugged her close. She drew her fingers along his flat abdomen until she could hook them into his belt and pull him tighter to her.
He kissed her once more, then gave a small laugh with his hands on her ass. “These breeches look mighty fine on you, but they’re a bit inconvenient.”
“I’m not the girl I was. Haven’t worn a skirt in a long time.”
Now I get to tag seven more authors and you get to read their seven sentences:
Use the #steampunk tag and you could win an e-copy of my book SKIES OF FIRE, and also a copy of TARNISHED by Karina Cooper!
